1st day 28.03.09 Saturday: OFF to HONG KONG
missy seems to know that we are going on a trip! she was in a super great, happy mood for the morning! 美姨 & 珮姨 sent us to the airport.. and as itz美姨’s birthday (happy burp-day!!!), we had a little breakfast celebration @ ya kun before the flight.. hee…
missy at t3's ntuc for some "shopping" 1st..
on flight! missy slept for about 2 hours.. phew! she is still under the weight allowed on the bassinet (weighed her b4 flt: 10.2 kg! finally hitting the 10 mark.. ha!).. however, she is too ‘long’ so she slept with her legs bent or over it.. haha! funny sight to us but she's quite a poor dear.. hee… however, guess she's too tired too bother with the leg-room or lack of it...
the afternoon was ‘burned’ cos we were waiting ourselves silly for my aunts to call us for dinner.. but well… at least missy had some rest to gear up for the crazy days ahead! hee…

oh.. and not forgetting the must-have visit to the 7-11 opposite the hotel before we head back for snooze! for mummy’s idea of 土产 (her stash of hk magazines that weigh a ton) and our snacks… and seeing the nice lady who is working there again! (ohh… she gave me a bunch of doraemon stuff this time round.. keke..)
2nd day 29.03.09 Sunday: 扫墓
woke up super duper early despite the late nite as we have to take the mtr to tung chung to meet up with the rest of the family. then we took cabs to reach the destination which is a good 45 mins drive up & down, round the mountains. which almost induced a bout of butt cramps cos i had to squeeze my bums to prevent myself from flopping onto dear while the taxi manouevered right and left in a F1 driving style.. LOL but itz true!! grr...
all groggy after the trip and i had to climb up the hill on itz rocky & slippery path in other to pay respects to my paternal great-grandparents. nice view from the top though.. literally 背山面海! however this little hike up totally ruined my ballet flats & left me breathless.. woosh..
when i came back down to ground level where dear, adri, mummy & some of the other relatives were waiting, they were all laughing.. at adri apparently as she had said "pleeeeassssssse" to some other kids at the same area, asking for a piece of potato chip!!! goodness... and since mummy told her she can't do that, she has walked over to them and proceeded to play with them a little and viola! after less than 3 mins, she managed to get a piece offered to her without her magic "please".. wahahahhaha!! tis girl ar...
then we proceeded to pray at dad's altar. nice view here too. and it seems real peaceful. think he's resting in peace. i certainly hope.. oh... and after this, my mood took a change. for worse. cos i was unwittingly pulled up another hill without me even realising it as the path was clearer by my aunt. to pray to my grandpa and some granduncle.. piangz.. and my thighs and ankles were hurting.. and best part? tis time round was accomplished with missy in our arms... lugging a 10kg toddler up ain't such a nice joke ya. and i have a phobia of such hikes! c'mon.. i can even fall while walking. wat abt uphill??
anyway... we were back down soon with one of my cousin to go look for my 姑妈 at her place which was not far off. she's the ever beautiful, lovely lady i knew.. who loved us much much... hee... then it was off to lunch for the 3 over tables full of pple with my same surname, 樊... =)

right after lunch, it was off to tuen mun on the ferry (of abt 1hr 15 mins.. woah!) to visit my granny. she seems to have aged & i wonder if dad's passing has anything to do with it.. sigh... but she was very happy to see us, especially little missy!
we went off after a sumptious seafood dinner with granny, 叔叔 & family. there were 2 shops selling burberry blue label which i got all excited over but sob sob.. nothing catches my eye.. i cldnt even get a wallet to replace my old one.. hmpf...
