random updates...

some random updates on adri…
p.s. dun mind the funnily-worded and no-linked entry.. like i say.. random random updates nia.. in order to assist in my c.m.i. memory ha!

she has learnt 3 diff languages.. english from ourselves, mandarin from her grandma & cantonese from her great-grandma.. so she’s kinda speaking in a “rojak” way.. hope she can differentiate them soon enough though! keke.. i dun mind the use of all 3 languages cos this is the best time for them to absorb, isn’t it?? ha..

1. i was greeted with her “bei ngo” (canto for 给我 which used to be “gim-me”) & “daw jae” (多谢.. it used to be “jae jae” or “k-you”.. new canto version now..??) on fri when i went back to mummy’s place.. ha! “bei ngo” wat? her new toy from ah-liang: ultra huge air-filled hammer which she has taken to whack us on our heads every now and then.. er…

2. telling us to “go back” or “go away” with that oh-so-cute expression and hand gesture of hers..
3. and surprising us by saying“不要” to her milk bottle when we tried to feed her b4 her music class.. and not forgetting her “keep” and hand gesture to keep the bottle.. keke..

4. her "auntie" actions when she went into her room with the lights off and realising that we were not following her.. she went "哎哟。。。怕怕哦。。" and then started to saunter out.. wahahaha!

5. and this little bossy fella wun hesitate to ask u to do things her way.. when she plays the music on her tricycle, she expects us to clap along with her.. else she'll just point to the culprit and go "papa" or "mama"... or while you are carrying her, she'll start on her "go there" x many many times till u comply...

i can tell she’s trying hard to piece all words together to form a sentence now.. but itz all very broken.. so itz reali so funny to listen to her trying to make sense of her own words.. haha! and she has been calling “mama” non-stop each time i call home.. and from her tone, it seems like she reali has something to tell me but can’t put in in proper sentences yet, thus the non-stop “mama”… aww… how sweet.. i am sooooo looking forward to the say she can tell me she miss me or love me while i m at work.. haha! i know itz a long way to go.. but i am so looking forward to it.. hee..

and another thing, she has taken on another trait from me.. she LOVES shoes.. erm.. how i know? from how she’ll eagerly sit down at those kid boutiques once i say i wana buy shoes for her… from the way she refuse to take off a pair of new shoes once itz on her… from the number of shoes she has at home… aiyo… and.. she loves crocs.. seems to be bringing her the best comfort… hahaha! thanks to her great-grandma who bought it for her.. ha! those crocs i bought? paiseh.. she can’t fit yet.. dumb me buy too big.. think it will most likely collect dust for another year or so before she can fit.. but that hasn’t stopped her from trying them on and attempting to walk around the house in them.. aiyo…

so this little one has gotten both our features including the ugly noses, our fiery & stubborn temperaments, my clumsiness & shopping traits.. wonder wat else does she have from us? hope it’ll be the good points from now.. LOL! if we have any ba… hahaha..
