missy was down with uti and fever arising from it since 20th right after the polliwogs day out.. fever subsided only on 22nd/ 23rd.. hmm.. but guess wat? poor baby suddenly had rashes all over her little body! luckily it subsided by the weekend. phew! TCM doc said 热毒, GP says itz an allergy to the antibiotics.. hmm... well, i guess i just have to be more careful with missy!

*evil thought*: should have just used the calamine lotion to draw stripes on her! she'll look so aborigines and cute! oopsie.. =)

19th october 2009 monday

itz zach's 1st birthday!! and wendy, myself & eileen brought the kiddos to polliwogs for a fun day (psssst.. i still hate the place! oops! but obviously i wana use up the 6-visits pass!!)

handsome & cheeky little zach! looks exactly like wendy bt behaves just like his daddy!! hahaha

cute little xavier! he has grown up so much! gosh.. the way he eats the fries.. i hope adri can be like him!

ooooo.. before i forget, something funny happened. we adjourned to BK which is just next door for some makan b4 heading home and once missy caught sight of the sea, she insisted on going out!!! she told dear, "papa, GO OUT! fish!! dolphin!!!"
i m very (pleasantly) surprised that she remembered dolphin lagoon! thought she wasn't even interested then as the dolphins were so far! hahhahaa

itz been ages.. reali AGES since i brought her for swimming. haha! in fact it has only been once MONTHS ago.. oopsie! so guilty.. my little baby has reali grown (though she can still fit into the very same swimsuit!)!! she is not afraid of water anymore and doesn't mind us splashing water over her head. she'll just swipe at her face with an irritated glare at us.. hahaha.. and tis notti girl! while waiting for the rest to be ready after her bath, she actually headed straight to the pool TWICE!!! wat is she thinking?? haha! dat she is such a good swimmer?? omg!

itz mummy's birthday on 10th Oct! and we had a nice, sumptious dinner with her @ Pu Tien @ Tampines Mall.. Lucky for reservations as the place was jam packed with pple! hurhurhur..

thereafter, we shopped around in the forever crowded mall (then and again, i dun mind this crowd cos at least i can tell they are 90% singaporeans.. unlike some other malls near my own place.. JP! tsk tsk).. and we had a taste of the shopaholic, shoe-fanatic in missy! we were in fox and she flipped through clothes just like us, picked up the shoes just like us and attempted to try on the shoes just like we would!! argh.. hahahahaha

the next day was spent goofing around with dear showing her crazy new expressions and her attempts to follow..

2YO explorer of the underwater adventureland

well.. sort of.. ha!

brought missy to underwater world & dolphin lagoon on her birthday right after a tiring morning at TMC (oscar test + checkup)..
but but.. itz missy's birthday and this is her birthday treat so we can't miss it for anything!

decided to take a cab in instead of driving as i m very tired and i also dun wan dear to drive.. so.. off we go @ ard 2pm!

reached the underwater world and though it seems like the whole of little india has made itz way here, missy is obviously oblivious to the pple surrounding her and went bonkers trying to TOUCH everything in the touch-pool and the stingray pool!!! omg.. can tis little girl be afraid of the very same things i m scared of? hahaha.. (but then, that would be pretty tough too.. cos i can't name wat i m not scared of except for humans and most dogs.. LOL!)..

can really see from her excitement that she LOVES fishes though she is pretty afraid of the conveyor part of the underwater viewing gallery. the sound that the very old conveyor belt and the headache-inducing glass didn't help in allaying her fears much and though she was very curious and wanted to take in the sight of so many fishes in one tank..

for me? i particularly liked the Sea Angel... simply beautiful! so cute...

after 2 rounds on the roundabout thingy, we did a little shopping at the underwater retail shop.. which sells mainly overpriced, low quality items.. being missy's birthday, we wanted her to bring something back so got her a tortoise pen & some plastic fish figurines (and she lost the cutest one - the starfish!!!).. then it was off to some rest-leg at the cafe/ kopitiam next to the place..

then then then.. it was off to the bus to bring us to the dolphin lagoon just in time for the last show of the day at 5.30pm! the dolphins were brilliant and beautiful.. however, missy being missy.. she was too excited with all the activities and she couldn't hold her urine in while dear ran with her in search of a toilet.. so oops! ended up dat dear is wet again.. kekeke..

and i guess she is more or less tired cos she didn't bother to "search" for the dolphins in the far & large stage after a while.. so it was time for home sweet home after the show! yippie.. my back is about to break again le.. hohoho...

anyway, there were more pressies for missy today.. jas bought her a very nice eeyore and much-needed barney water bottle to replace the old one which has gone "un-suckable".. and another angbao from 美姨! keke.. thanks thanks thanks!

last but not least, a little note to my sweetheart...

i m back with some videos taken over the weekend at mum's place! missy has certainly morphed into a narcissistic toddler (a trait very much like her godma Sam! LOL!) and she has proven my point when she danced the whole of saturday morning while staring at the mirror.. inventing her new dance moves and created her very own ROBOT dance. hahaha! pardon me for the shaky shaky images at certain parts of the vid. obviously i was enjoying myself too! LOL..



next up is her favourite songs of the moment time.. she is not very audible in certain parts while she "spaced out" and very "lao hong" in other parts.. but do enjoy!

itz OCTOBER!!! besides missy's birthday on the 8th, itz also mummy's & peiyan's birthday on the 10th.. and not forgetting my dearest godson, zachary's 1st birthday on the 18th..

since there are no big parties for missy this year, decided to give a treat at thai express @ iluma.. yum yum spicy food! hohohoho.. pity that oct baby, peiyan couldn't join us.. hmmm.. but will make up to her again!

八月十五庆中秋...

itz the time for mooncakes and lanterns.. and boy! i m soooo happy that missy is now able to play lanterns with me.. wahahhaha.. cos i always liked lanterns and haven't had the chance to go downstairs to play with them for the past 2 years (or is it 5???)! obviously the older-than-me-by-10-years man wouldn't go down with me too.. haha.. so with missy, itz the perfect excuse. though the weather didn't seem to agree with me much as it was raining in the evening.. all the way till missy fell asleep then did the sky lighten up. tsk tsk.. anyway, we still had fun in the void deck with the family & some neighbours!
