i dunno about others but i personally DISLIKE those CNY traditional clothings for kids cos i think they are garish & super duper OTT. they make kids look so much older than they are, when kids shd just be kids.. pure & innocent. ha! so imagine my horror when i saw this red cheongsam in adri's size when i was back at mum's!!! well, it wasn't my mum obviously cos she's even more picky than me regarding such stuff.. it was from a very very nice 姨婆 (granny's god-daughter) who bought it despite protests from mum cos she tot it was cute and she didnt mind us letting her don it only at home for show.. thanks for being sweet! i reali appreciate it & i'll actually appreciate a bigger angbao more.. whahahahahaha! so rude of me.. hiaks hiaks.. *just kidding!* anyway, since we're at it, here are some photos!

reunion with dear's father, adri's 爷爷, my FIL... hahaha..
and he was thrilled cos adri can call him 爷爷... =D
dinner wasn't thrilling though. went to Oasis @ Toa Payoh cos missed their fare but my recommendation to all in future: DUN BOTHER!!! food is mediocre yet expensive. wat a waste of my time! shd have gone to crystal jade with him instead... hmpf!

adri went for her gymboree lesson in the morning & she was "forced" to walk by herself cos we refused to let her revert to crawling.. poor baby but i tink we've got no choice since we wanna build up her confidence! and i must say she did quite well...
and it was off to Xavier didi's 1st birthday in the afternoon! and itz theme is pooh & friends! cool... and before i forget, thanks Eileen for the great party!!
there were many people by the time we reached as we had waited for adri to wake up from her nap. but she clearly enjoyed the atmosphere esp the balloons!! "ball ball ball" she repeated & repeated.. aiyo!

something cute to share: she loves fishes so naturally we'll bring her near to the fish tank @ eileen's place. we asked if she can touch the water, she waved her hand. so i told her, "yup. u can't touch ok?" and wagged my finger at her. and she copied the finger-wagging action & shook her head along with it.
and at this point, her silly daddy decided to put his finger into the tank. to which, adri shook her head & wagged her little finger at him.. hahahhaah! and poor dear kena smacked by me on the palm in front of his daughter.. LOL.. serves him right though!
