dear decided to visit his mum again this year after the standoff last year.. and i must admit i was real worried abt the reception we will get.. and boy! am i surprised at the warm welcome & hearty laughter of the family, directed especially at ms sweetie..
kudos to ms sweetie for the part she played in warming their hearts.. she was so well-behaved that day, i wondered if she was mine! she addressed them, kept her hands to where they shd be and came up with a few new tricks there.. woah! impressive for my sweetie who was actually down with a bad flu & UTI... will upload the pics of the gathering at my mil's place soon.. once i get them from sil... =D
hmm.. must add that dear & i lost $10 to 婆婆 though.. she was betting with us that my mil will be all nice & happy with her grandchild but we disagreed, taking the other side of the bet. we thought she'd be just cordial... well, who knows! haha.. but i must say i m glad with the outcome though.. it means i can bring ms sweetie to swim @ her place.. hahahaha!
then it was off to my fil's.. simple gathering and he's elated as usual to have all little & old ones visiting him!
then it was back to mummy's place... with most relatives already there! i believed ms sweetie was looking for familiar grounds, esp since she's in need of her nap & after the morning out.. but it was way too crowded.. lucky though that she did manage to nap for an hour or so in the room.. phew! else it would be worse.. haha..

auntie mary invited the troupe to perform the lion dance at her stall and braving a swollen eye (brought on by god-knows-what??), i went down to soak in the atmosphere too.. taking lotsa pics while trying to avoid punctured ear drums.. keke..
ms sweetie engrossed in the lion dance... haha! she enjoyed it sooooo much!
it was off to mummy cousin's (my aunt la...) place.. ms sweetie enjoyed herself watching the kids at the pool and walking up & down the step... haiyo...
dun we just look alike?? i've come to the conclusion that dear & i CONFIRM have 夫妻相, though we knew it long ago.. but with adri, it is more obvious cos we have 2 camps who argue that she looks like either of us.. hahaha.. aiya.. she's our baby, our darling.. it doesn't matter la.. as long as she doesn't have his size.. OOPs!!!
