her birthday "celebration" started a little earlier by default on 25th Sep.. cos we were (as usual...) at gobi and i wanted to try their raspberry cake.. and stupid me tot it was gonna be a slice.. but got presented with a 400gm cake instead.. hahaha! since a whole cake was right in front of me, might as well sing her a birthday song.. hahaha! mum refused to be part of it cos she wanted me to celebrate her birthday proper..
then on the actual day, dear & i showed up at her school as planned for her birthday celebration with a cute & lovely (and surprisingly delicious!!) choo-choo train cake from coffeebean..
i reali wanted to get her a dinosaur cake. but i dun see any nice ones at the usual places like bengawan/polar/primadeli etc. and to have a blogshop baker do one equals to spending at least $200 on her cake for her class! which to me: NO WAY. an expensive cake for an actual party: OK. but for the class? hmm... but i sort of regret my decision! cos her form teacher, ms quek asked if my cake was a dino cake before i can open the box. missy apparently had been telling her for ONE whole week that she has got a dino cake!! argh... and i can see the disappointment oin missy's face.. argh.. luckily for us, she brightened up after eyeing the many candies on her train cake.. phew! but not before she made us promise to get her a dino cake soon.. hahaha..

then as it is mummy's birthday in 2 days time as well and with 10.10.10 being such a HOT date at restaurants, bro & i decided to bring mummy out earlier for a birthday lunch.
we were undecided on wat to have and as 珮姨 had already treated her to a sumptious lunch the day before, we headed to iluma.. and settled for asian kitchen.. and phew! she's very pleased with the spread.. heehee.. must understand.. my mummy is a picky eater too la.. LOL..

...... and as 舅舅 is back from china for 2 weeks, he jio-ed us for dimsum at asia grand. before the overwhelming (yes, overwhelming cos we had 2 tables and each table had TWO orders of EVERY dish!) food can arrive, ayden boi decided to snooze.. and cos we dun hv his stroller out with us, this is his makeshift cot! hahaha
and then after a power nap, he awakes! =)
missy is still very hyped over her birthday even though it has passed.. haha! she must tink her birthday lasts 2 weeks la..
realised the polo tee i got for missy when she was young was a girl's style.. haha! it looks so off on ayden! oopsie! time to hit poloralphlauren website for stuff!
