backtrack slightly to 24th november (tues)...

as the tix to kitty lab is deemed too expensive by our hubbies who are NON-FANS of hello kitty, the 3 women from the office decided to just go on our own.. since it will also mean that these 3 women can buy the merchandise and get away from the nagging that comes along with it and the exhorbitant price tags.. hiaks!

booked tix on Mon for the slot at 6.30 - 9.00 pm on Tuesday.. and we "pia" there in a cab right after work! ha..
once we were in, we can take a pic at the starting point (of cos an "official" pic so that they can charge us!!!) and gosh! i looked so PUFFED up.. (more on that another time..)

then we proceeded to the briefing room to "understand" what this kittylab thingy is all about. turns out we have to play some games with our KTA (kitty DNA) and from there, we get to "decide" how our kitty looks like if we win the very simple games.. e.g. make the "shhhhhhhhhh shhhhhhhhhh" sound into the mic like u are slurping noodles, shaking your hips as fast as u can etc etc... we were promised a good-citizen badge if we can complete and get out of kittylab in less than 35 mins. of cos itz possible and we did it.. just dat we didnt have much time to take pics (which weren't allowed by the way.. OOPS!) after the games.. wakkakaa..

we handed over our KTAs upon exit and were given a printed card of the kitty we have "created" and of cos, the good-citizen badge. luckily it is a brass and not plastic badge. ha!

ooooooo.. and right after the exit is of cos the 35th anniversary - available-at-kittylab-only merchandise! fell in love with the pretty pendant+necklace. didnt have to spend $$$ getting it though cos was told that it will tarnish! *phew*! got a cute, foldable shopping bag instead that folds into a small KTA pouch.. awwww.. i like..
