my baobeis so far...

my baobeis are growing up so fast, i just can't seem to grab hold of time and make it slow down.. haiz.. with so many natural disasters on a big scale happening around the world in recent years (latest being the major quake & tsunami in japan), i get petrified that time is going even faster.. with the end of the world just round the corner.. *shudders* at the thought.. guess since we can't get time to slow down, we'll just have to make the most of our time.. tell the pple we love that we LOVE them.. and cherish every beautiful moment! =D very cliche hor? but in times like this, i tink itz perfectly fine to be cliched! hahahaha..

mr notti (and when i say notti, i reali mean NOTTI!!! more on that shortly...)playing with mum's hp and making the "noh-noh" sounds.. which is equivalent to his "hello".. hahaha! *pics as 'stolen' from qiuu's blog. =D*

my pretty baby.. i love to squeeze ayden for pics.. but adri lovesssssss to squeeze me for our cam-whoring sessions..... hiaks!my narcissistic baby boy! his favourite activity. must keep in mind to keep the mirror clean.. hohoho


brought this learning activity table back from home for ayden boi boi to explore.. but we had to bring it back hm the very same day! simply cos he was soooooooooo "chor-lor" with it.. we weren't afraid that he will spoil it. we were afraid he will fall off the table! cos he wanted to climb over it! and with the strength dat he uses on the table, i wun be surprised if more "buah-lukus" appear on his head.. hee..



missy loves to "build" houses nowadays.. which in her world, it means putting bolsters, pillows, lego blocks around her so that it encloses her.. hahaha! and she reali reali LOVES it..



ooooh.. more on them... ayden boiboi is now @ 80cm tall.. just 15cm shorter than missy.. LOL.. tink missy feels that the diff is getting smaller and smaller and she is feeling more self-conscious.. hurhurhur.. she keeps saying "mummy, i m so tall now hor?".. "mummy, u see? my legs are sooooooooo long!".. hahahaha

as for mr notti, he has a real fiery temper.. the other day dear was withholding his toy from him and he literally growled... ha! and when dear finally gave him the toy, he threw it in dear's face.. and turned away to play with other toys.. ALL AT THE GRAND "OLD" AGE of 11+months old.. wkakakakakaka... i tink i can laugh out loud now.. but i can't imagine 13 years down the road when he reach puberty and all the angst comes out.. *cold sweat*... =P

haircut!

珮姨told us of this "Glamour Kiddies" that she came across @ Liang Court and we decided to bring the kiddos there just to try them out. =D

the messy, long look of both the kiddos and we digging into our ala-carte thai buffet.. nice food, yummy desserts, bad service so forget about me mentioning it. ha!

my yandao boi boi with his jiejie and her chic bob.. i likey! slightly pricey for kiddo's haircut but at least their style ain't run-of-the-mill kind.. and i can tell he reali put in effort on the kiddos' hair..

few days after the haircut and his hair are all starting to grow out fast! *shakes head* means i have to bring him for a haircut b4 his birthday party..

funny stuff dat came out of my almost 3.5 year old missy.. =D

one. while having her haircut @ glamour kiddies @ liang court. the hairstylist was cutting her fringe, thus the scissors was touching her forehead, near her eyebrows while he cut.. missy opened her eyes once he's done and went "eh.. u cut my eyebrows ar??"... haha... after our laughter subsided, i told her "no, he cut ur eyelashes!". her fingers flew straight up to her eyes to touch her eyelashes and she said "no. my eyelashes still here!!" >_<

two. missy was scrutinising her legs..
missy: mummy, i have a lot of hair.
me: ya.. u are very hairy..
missy: mummy, u no hair hor? (after staring at my legs)
me: yes, mummy has no hair. wat about papa?
missy: (without even looking at dear's legs) YES! papa alot of hair!

three: learning to sing billionaire after listening to the song in pei-yi's car
missy: i wana be a billionaire.. so freaky bad..
me: no baby, itz sooooooo very bad.. not freaky..
missy: FREAKY!!!

now, she knows how to sing up to "smiling next to oprah and the queen".. hurhurhur.. but lucky me, she changed her FREAKY to VERY finally.. i can't imagine what would have happened if she heard the orginal version dat goes "so Fxxking bad".. hurhurhur..

four. 珮姨 was telling me dat ayden seems to be bigger sized now.. i nodded and told her yes, both my kids are fat now.. i turned and looked at missy and said "see? wee wee so fat. her tum tum is so big.. haha!" and i walked away... i was still within earshot when she walked to 珮姨 and spoke to her very seriously, "姨婆, i thin thin hor? y mummy say i fat fat? i thin thin right??"
gosh!! and this lil ger refused to drink her milk the next morning, getting into a shouting match with her daddy. i stepped in and talked to her.. and told her she looks nice only if she has a cute tumtum.. only then did she turn to dear and said "ok, papa.. i want milk now".. oops! my girl is a vainpot!!! =_<

an "inexpensive" substitute...

... going down memory lane...

after "bio-ing" a distant aunt's big-ass bvlgari watch during this CNY, i was "brought" back to the CNY about 8 years ago.. then was when i "bio-ed" my fav watch since secondary school days sitting on the wrist of his buddy's girlfren. being the "not-shy" cherie, i started yakking to her about her watch, how much she paid for it and which shop she got it from blah blah blah. needless to say, we became instant "best friends" for the next few days of CNY and i believe dear secretly hated her. she was flaunting her watch right in his face, shouting out the price and place she got it and hawked the discount she got from the boutique and how she can go with me and help me get the same discounts too.. so "Cartier" was the one and only word in my dictionary/vocab/grammar that i know of the next couple of days too. haha! lucky it didn't take him long to give in to my request - 2 days after i met her. but on one condition then.

"i win this next 2 matches and the watch is yours baby!".. ONZ la.. his friends got even more excited than me during the games and kept updating me on the scores while i was outside the house playing blackjack... and he WON! woohoo..

well, dat was the history story of my 8 years old (aka super duper OLD!!! grr...)beloved watch la.. after "bio-ing" the bvlgari, i realised it has been at least 2 years LONGGGGGGGG since my last watch purchase.. or was it a purchase in the 1st place? i tink it came free with the jay gee membership i got.. hahahaha! pathetic sia.. so i started badgering my poor man with my new WANT..

me: baby, i WANT a NEW watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!... *whines*
dear: ok ok.. go buy ur michael kors. i pay.
me: simi sai MK?? i am talking about a chopard la!
dear: u want "sio-pak"? u wait u wait.. let me learn how to print $$$ first..
me: u dun love me le.. last time i wanted anything, u will just get for me lor. *whines*

and... TA-DA! this is the one.. no complaints about the watch though it is no SIO-PAK.. cos i sot tio-ed this watch many many months back.. but then, it only came in white.. and a watch in white silicon material? forget it.. will never survive my chor-lor-ness.. hahahaha.. so it was this beautiful dark navy blue beauty then.. thanks sooooooooo much baby! u still owe me a SIO-PAK hor!!!!!!!!!!

went to jones the grocer @ mandarin hotel with the folks on saturday. not my usual haunt (of cos la.. i dun even go orchard ma.. ha!) but mummy & granny love the place for their croissants etc.. 珮姨 really spoil them hor?? hahahaha..

my dear ayden boiboi having our attention 101% thanks to missy sleeping.. she's parked right behind in his stroller... hiaks..



and the food.. 2 thumbs up for the eggs benedict here! the muffin is soooooooooo soft and yummy! plus 2 more toes for the croissants.. *slurp* now i understand y they like this place.. 珮姨, this weekend? again? LOL!


CNY came and went.. so fast.. after all the preparation etc.. hmm.. no complaints though as i love festive seasons! finally opened the kiddos (& mine too!) angbaos and woah! there were a total of 114! moolah collected totals $1XXX.. hurhurhur.. this is going straight to their bank account before i fritter the $$$ away.. =D

some updates on ayden. this little boy is now 11.5kg, abt 76cm tall, has got 6 teeth with the 7th sprouting out soon. he bites ALOT and has left several memebers of the family with BRUISES from his bites!! his "vampire" moves consists of the following steps: 1. bite, 2. LIFT, 3. release. preferred mode of "transport" is crawling. cruising alot too but simply refuse to start walking. he has got a fiery temper so do not attempt to snatch anything from him. however, this same chilli padi also have a ready smile 24/7 for everyone. =P

now moving on to the video clips.. he actually POOPED right after i stopped filming.. leaving his sai all over the bottom bars cos he still continued dancing after he has finished his business!! eww... tell me if he still looks cute to u.. hahahaha!

"celebrated" a day earlier on sunday, 13th Feb 2011 at my favourite Sakuraya Fish Mart @ West Coast Plaza to satisfy my craving for fresh sashimi! haha.. sooooo not romantic sia.. but but but as long as i like.. wkakakaka...

i was bursting at the seams after the meal... *burp*



and i tot i wasn't gonna get anything else since there was nothing on my WISHLIST this year... and dear did "remind" me a few times dat there wun be anything for me by telling me "i dun have anything for u tis year dear.. i dunno wat u want.. so let me know when u come up with something k?"

so i was really pleasantly surprised to see this on the desk when we got home.. i was sure i didn't see it in the morning.. and i had my answer when i turned and caught him smiling.. aww.. *heart melts* though the pressie is inexpensive.. cos itz simply so thoughtful. he remembers that i dun have any notebook for this year! hee... =D

year of the RABBIT!!!

hmm... tis is just soooo me... to blog about CNY only on 元宵节... wakakaka!

and as usual, tis is gonna be based on my pathetic memory AGAIN! =D

1st day: usual stop @ MIL's place.. the lil boy was sleeping while on the way so it was up to missy to melt the ladies' hearts.. and she did.. with her funny BUT NOTTI antics.. and MIL's sister actually declared "i love you!"... *brrrrrr* ^_<

and who can resist a photo with the mischievous one?


dear gambled abit (& lost!) and we headed to my FIL's place.. but i was trying my darn best not to let adri & ayden roam everywhere dat i missed out on photos!

as for the rest of the day, it was of course spent back @ mummy's place.. where else? missed this part of CNY last year as they were in Taiwan for holidays.. it was so different (& quiet!!!) without them.. and i definitely do not want them away for CNY again.. (which they totally agreed upon cos they missed the festivities too!).. however, i was too busy with the kiddos and trying to entertain everyone else (and catch a nap at the same time), that i had no chance (forgot!) to take pics.. hiaks!

2nd day: visited great-grandpa and the rest of the relatives (who are the same as those who visited us on the 1st day la...) and missy had a great time running all over.. talking about MY great-grandpa.. hmm.. he gave all os us a scare on the 1st day when i carried ayden boi to greet him happy CNY.. his face soured and he almost burst into tears!! gosh.. i was so worried if he was ok.. turns out he was soooooooooooo happy to see so many people around him.. =D

3rd day: brought missy for her class while mum & granny were out to send 珮姨to the airport for her bangkok holiday.. *envoius!* came back to find little princess, Faith and Mary auntie and her mummy over at mum's place.. the girls seem to be able to play together better! yeah yeah.. and thanks to Faith who is more gentle, missy ACTS like she sayangs didi too.. (wat a good actress sia??)


u'd tink they get along fine huh? these NICE siblings moments happen only 50% (MAX!) of the time.. but well.. they have to start somewhere, dun they??


5th day: was spent @ NYNY with alice, jas, carol, ben & e 2 little boys!!! had a great time catching up and erm.. bitching.. and am now waiting for miss carol to post the pics of us somewhere! yoohoo!

6th day: back @ work with a reluctant spirit.. hiaks.. and to perk us up, we coerced our dear KT to buy us our 开工宴 @ Bosses @ Vivo.. the lau sar bao is still the best and i have missed it lots.. BUT the service sucks!!! would have complained if not for the fact that i m trying to save my soul from being cursed over the CNY period. i might as well be the one to curse the captain who served our table.. hahaha!



7th day (aka 人日): had lunch with the rest of the team @ Ban Heng @ harbourfront.. super old skool chinese restaurant but surprisingly, the food ain't too bad! and there's tis cute, old waitress by the name of HO who is superb!! she kept feeding us water that made us so full by the end of the 5th course.. LOL



8th day: we cannot curb our gambling desires anymore, especially with isaac away in Sabah over the coming weekend, we made an earlier date with him for our poker @ sabri's hse.. ha! to which, dear LOST again!! and so did I.. wah piangz.. tis year is not good for gambling for the both of us sia.. hurhur..

10th day: erm.. unsatisfied with our losses (and also cos KT wasn't ard on thurs), we had ANOTHER session @ sabri's hse again.. tis time with the kids.. dear decided not to gamble liao as it is obviously clear he is not out for gambling this year.. so he took care of the 2 monkeys while i played (and LOST!!!!!!!!!!!) *shakes head*..


and we headed to 好姨's house for a gathering and also to meet with doris & john.. =) the little monkey enjoying himself sans pants after waking up from his nap..


姨丈treated us to dinner @ Kimly Live Seafood @ Tradehub.. we weren't too impressed with the place initially as it was set in a foodcourt, but with restaurant prices.. however, the food that was served certainly lived up to the hype surrounding this Seafood Restaurant set in a food court.. hmmm.. Food portions were generous too!



11th day: as a CNY tradition every year, the family goes to this 斋堂 (datz wat we call it anyway.. hee) to pray and go through a ritual of 补运 & 点佛灯.. qiuu is so funny. she actually completed the ritual this year (we always dun cos we had to chope seats for the vegetarian meal thereafter!) and hopes to meet her other half this year.. *all the best to my dear cousin! u are such a sincere and pretty babe, i m sure that'll be of no issue at all!*
