little boys are just so funny... hurhurhur..

took the chance to bring adri to her would-be kindergarten since i m on leave after my bkk trip.. the nursery & pre-nursery classes were having their break when we went in.


and i can't believe it! dear dear actually heard some little boys from the nursery class commenting "she's so cute" blah blah blah a few times when they saw missy...!!


omg. wat is this world coming to? did i "grow" up so fast back then too?? hahaha.. this reali tickled me man.. shd i start looking for an all-girls kindy??


anyways, think missy was fascinated and she didn't reali want to leave. i guess my decision to send her to pre-N right from the start of 2010 should be a correct one. this little girl will adapt..

shopping in bangkok was never this shiok!

b4 my long story, here's some pics of missy taken on the morning b4 i flew off.. aww.. i missed her so much during the 3 days..

my last visit to bangkok was in 2006. prior to that were numerous visits, the most being 2 or 3 times in a year. and it got so boring that i will feel like puking when i think of bangkok.

well.. i guess that was cos i have yet to discover platinum mall!! erm.. dun tink it was up in 2006??

anyway, this trip was with my 2 dear girls sam & shir! ms shopaholic sam reali was a "shopper-driver".. my already bad back almost broke on the 1st day. the pain spread to my knees, back of my knees, ankles and TOES on the 2nd day!!! needless to say, my body was almost tattered by the 3rd day but PHEW! we were coming back home already...

i can totally understand y shir shir doesnt wana go bkk with sam alone. tis will kill any able-bodied. trust me. haha! but that being said, sam was so sweet cos being the only non-handicapped, she carried our shopping for us and let us have the seat everytime we took a rest. shir shir was so nice too for helping me even though she is nursing a bad back herself..

so so so.. what can i say? my frens are the Tweetest.. hahaha..

and guess my damage besides the back & the legs?

our 1st picnic ever... happy national day!

oct mummies came up with an idea i would never have gone ahead with alone... PICNIC!!! hahaha.. ok, i like nature.. but picnic?? never crossed my mind to have one with missy though i have been wanting to bring her to jacob ballas after hearing abt it from the mummies.. nevertheless, we had a ball of a time!!! (though dear was the one running after missy most of the time as the sun got to me & my head as usual.. watz new? *wink*) and oh.. one thing we learnt from the trip: missy is the shortest amongst the kiddos.. and i dunno whose genes to blame as we are both the tallest in the group (ok, maybe only me but not dear... hahahaha!)... and erm.. i must also start buying clothes in my favourite colour besides black: RED! i didnt have anything red to wear to the picnic though it was the colour of the day.. hmm... and missy dun have any too! until after the picnic when i received a pretty dress for missy from auntie mary the next day.. haiya! but anyway, it was so sweet of auntie peggy.. keke.. another thing i learnt: our kiddos have all grown up! some are shy, some are vivacious.. but they are all so sweet & lovely in my eyes.. these kiddos ar.. i wish they are all mine! though when it comes to leaving, i m glad they are with their parents.. cos 1 thing's for sure, i will kill myself if i have to face more than my very own notti wondergirl, missy... kekeke... but they sure are a fun lot.. =P

missy had "no choice" but to be stuck to the both of us during this long weekend. and i tot it was going to be a longggggggggg boring weekend... but NOPE! missy made the both of us feel sooooooo loved and filled with love we are both bursting with it right now!


i have always wondered if she loves us much since we dun bring her home on weekends, spending them with her only at mummy's place most of the time. but i guess she does.. and itz ALOT ALOT ALOT!


throughout this weekend, she has been holding our hands to bring us to her play-stations.. hugging us, planting her kisses on us (though most of the kisses were coaxed out of her.. she pretty ngiao in kissing) and lots and lots of her silly grins & antics... most importantly, the fact that she wants us and only us with some of the things she does.


even when the cane is raised and she is reprimanded, she will still come back looking for us. though sometimes, itz the super "manja" personality of hers dat makes her stick to us.. but what can i say?? very very very very very loved...


missy can be sooooooooooo super duper notti & stubborn but when these "manja" actions come out, my heart melts. awww...... dear is still stern with her and mummy wonders why i have to shout "dear, she beat me!" and not hit her myself instead.. ha! itz never easy being the disciplinarian. and i really appreciate the hardwork mummy & grandma put in when they raised me up. i truly understand the "打在孩身,痛在娘心" now. but my hopes for her to be a well-disciplined child still stand. and i m going to make sure i am strong enough emotionally to discipline her. cos i also believe in "三岁定八十" and i will do my utmost best to nurture her into being a good person... i promise.


for now, let me bask in this lovely feeling... aww............ *blissed out...*

5 new pairs and food for the face

7th august thursday

dear & i decided impromptu to take leave & go shopping in JB @ aeon/jusco bt indah.. the 2 goondus took a bus from JE (CW3) and blop blop blop across the causeway.. thanks to sabri for her updates on this service!! woohoo! wat a breeze getting in & out of JB.. and the mall is HUGE!!! yippie.. big & new & people-less! hahahahaha.. i like i like..

right after our lunch @ kenny rogers (i would have headed straight to vincci if not for the fact that i m famished... keke), we headed straight to spend my ringgits on 5 pairs of new lovely shoes!! sorie to many people including my dearest, 2 were super heels (well, super in my record as itz more than 3 inches.. and dat makes me like 1.86m tall?? oopsie!), one pair of kitten heels and 2 pairs of flats (1 pretty emerald satin one for mummy!).. and guess wat?? they cost me rm247 only!! (sgd 101).. can u imagine??? omg.. i swear by vincci shoes as they have it in my size (erm.. a 10), are non-slip compared to another fav local brand of mine and they haven't given me much problem *touch wood!!!* so far.. must try!

then, i found etude house! i quite like korean skincare as i find them more suited for my sensitive-cum-dehydrated-cum-problem skin. this etude house ain't available in sg. but woohoo! found them in JB. and the best part? the prices are lower than those available thru bulk purchases as m'sia is having their grand sale! 30% off skincare and 20% off makeup. i loaded up close to or more than 10 items and costs me less than wat 3 bottles of fancl's oil cleansers would have.. shiok-ka-doo!! i like...

as usual, dear was at his sweetest, dispensing advice on which shoes look great on me blah blah blah.. but let me tell u, he almost fainted when i loaded up on those shoes & skincare.. but when he knew how much i m saving, he asked if i wanted to go back to the shop and see if i needed anything more.. wahahahha! wat an old man & typical singaporean. me included! kekeke...

anyway, dearie got something for himself though (which is very rare) and what makes it rarer is that he has gotten himself new socks!! wahhahaha... and boxers for hom-wear.. hehehehe.. mr rhino is certainly getting more hiao as he ages.. imagine him exercising & watching his diet recently.. *must scheme to block his efforts until i m able to shed off some weight myself! (i gained 2 kg wor.. godknows where it came from!!) hiaks hiaks* but shhhhhhhhhhh on my evil plan...

it was the month-end rush.. and i had no choice but to be back at work on a saturday.. brought missy along and boy! was she happy to be roaming freely amongst the work-desks, admiring the soft-toys that adorn my colleagues' desks.. ha! "hug..." " mmm-muack" was often heard though they were mostly directed towards these none-living stuff..

and she loved the snacks sabri gave her loads... pocky after pocky.. not too bad for someone who dun take solids much! except dat she's nursing a cough! argh... but well... anything dat makes her happy..

and i guess she tickled and entertained the rest who had to come back to slog on a great saturday afternoon too... i m going to bring her for my next month-end close. this time round, i should consider bringing her there alone. daddy was obviously quite bored.. keke..

she obviously had more fun after dat when we brought her back home for her "play" session after "work".. =P
