i really really love ms notti adrienne! =D

ms notti is very very very cute now, even if i have to say so myself! ha.. nah.. i know all babies will definitely be the most adorable & lovable in the eyes of their parents.. and i m sure most will wish to stop time now and slowly admire their babies' growth & development as much as myself..! since we can't do that, the only thing i can do & wish to do is to keep reminding myself that i am a mother now and i need to love my baby more everyday instead of the weekend mummy that i m now...


some of the amazing things i have learnt that a 1 yr old ms notti can do... and boy! it overwhelms me at times... =)


1. baby can say: "mmm-oi", "pa-pa", "ma-ma", "po-po", "mum-mum" and starting to utter "bye-bye"


2. understands 2 languages & 1 dialect... english, mandarin & cantonese

3. responds when asked questions like:
~"do you want...?" - shakes head & say "mmm-oi" or nods
~"where do u want to go?" - points to direction
~"where is winnie the pooh/ tweety/ gymbo/ hello kitty/ ball/ piggy bank/ old man/ mirror etc" -points to item!
~"where pain pain?" - points to herself/ head & hits the floor / headboard of bed
~"u want milk / nen-nen / 'good-good' / zui zui / chou chou / ju-ju / nnn-nnn (poo poo)"
~"nnn-nnn finished?"
~"who is pretty girl?" - point so herself.. hahaha! like mummy so thick-skinned..
~ "where is little tummy?" / "daddy's tummy"? - pulls up respective tops! hahaha...

4. do little actions on cue like:
~ 怕怕
~waves
~flying kiss
~kiss kiss

5. responds to songs with actions like twinkle twinkle little star etc!

6. responds to: "adrienne", "dree-yearn", "sweetheart", "sweet sweet", "小宝贝", "幸仪", "妹妹"

7. plays peek-a-boo with you by covering her own face with her hands! keke... cheeky girl..

8. kisses u when you put on her hairclip for her & tell her "美美"! she's reali reali vain lor.. haha..
otherwise, she'll reward u with a kiss only when she feels like it.. ha!

9. will crawl up to u and pull to a stand and sayang u when u tell her u are angry with her...

10. purposely irritates the shit out of u when u tell her not to do something!! argh.. and dat cheeky look of hers.. haiz.. can i just muster up the courage & smack her?? kekeke..

erm.. well.. like wat mummy always say to me.. "you must be mad.. cant bear to hit ur daughter.. next time she'll 'ride' on u lor!!"

and oh.. like wat sarah said too.. i tink i might have become my girl's playmate instead of her mummy wor... LOL! but i must make it very clear.. i dun have a deprived childhood! hahaha.. i just love her alot.. more than wat alot of pple think.. i just have to be clearer on my discipline methods... and oh ya.. CONSISTENCY...
