happy weekend... ^_^

it is a colleague's last day soon and we tried out King Louis @ vivo for her farewell lunch.. surprisingly, this joint which we have never considered for our regular lunches turned out to serve good food! woohoo! service was not half bad too so can consider another visit soon... =D

our set lunch consist of soup + main + drink + dessert and it doesn't cost above $10!! cheap & good. and the serving is of standard size, unlike some places which serves smaller portion.. and the sides? woah! big servings too and they were yummy!




then came the weekend... YIPPIE!
my pretty weewee who loved her new dress and kept telling me she is so "princessy".. LOL.. bth..



missy saw my belt lying ard and this is wat the silly girl do.. she held it against herself and told me how tall she is as compared to... A BELT!!! hiaks..


and as no one was available on Saturday nite, mummy, grandma & us with the kiddos took a cab to the nearby NEX (no way am i driving to a humongous mall with limited parking!!) and shopped.. hee.. also, we tried out Laksania which was mentioned in 8 days.. and it was great!! ha... we had the signature singapore laksa, penang laksa, laksa goreng, chix laksa spaghetti and laksa chix fried rice.. *slurp* according to mummy's taste buds, they reali use fresh coconut milk (juice?) and not those packet kind.. so the taste is stronger and more authentic.. which should spell "disaster" to my diet but.. HECK!! it is just shiok... hurhur..


then came sunday and we joined the kiddos and old folks for brekkie @ the market. and as usual (usual for the kiddos la.. the old folks always bring them there!!! SPOILT!), they proceeded to the kiddy ride outside the medical hall and i m surprised both SQUEEZED into the seat willingly..


and this is lil baobei on missy's tricycle.. i rem missy started riding only @ 1.5years old.. and this lil boy can actually climb on & off all by himself.. *faintz*


and introducing to u... this lil boy's favourite expressions of the week! BTH the ah pek's looks!! hiaks.. he loves to screw his face up and give a frown.. godknowswhat goes thru his mind?? LOL!


oh.. and in case u wonder watz the red spot on his left cheek all about, it is the work of a bl**dy mosquito.. tsk.. and he has quite a few bites all over periodically.. which is simply *URGH*!!! if u ask me.. haiz.. and his bruise on the left corner of his forehead? not the result of just one bump.. it is an accumulation of bumps!!! haiz.. tis boy is good (in fact, very good) in his gross motor skills. his depth perception is surprisingly superior for his age. he started to climb up the sofa abt 1.5 months back.. he knows and has demonstrated that he should turn legs down first when getting off the bed for quite awhile now. and yes, he has attemtpted to do so many times!! haiz.. however, the bruises are simply an after-effect of him simply moving way too fast..

thus, even though i have given "instructions" that i do not want to see fresh bruises or mozzie bites on his handsome mug for the upcoming birthday party, i m sure i'm pretty much asking for the "sky" in this instance. and erm.. in fact once i stop taking pics and kept the camera, a fresh bruise was "earned" on his face just above the mozzie bite.. all cos he was shaking his head vigorously and smacked himself on the door frame... =_=""" i m simply keeping my fingers crossed now..
