missy turns THREE in less than 9 days

itz time for me to have an overhaul in image. nah.. there's nothing wrong with how i look (or so i hope!) but itz to do with how i feel..
i feel OLD... how do i not feel old when i m a mother of a almost 6-months old baby and a baby who's turning THREE!??!!! haha..

i tink the same OLD feeling is evoked everytime missy adds a year to her age. cos it still seem just like yesterday that i m pregnant with HER! not to mention ayden.. i guess itz something i have to live with for the rest of my life.. haha! the kind of sweet anxiety mixed with immense happiness everytime the birthday draws near.. maybe datz one in the list of the "job scope" of a mother? =) well, i m not complaining! itz my pleasure and my joy..

updates (or rather postdate) on the YEARLY october'07 babies' birthday bash on 18th september held at modestos@vivo.

though the kids & adults attending this year are lesser, it is in no way less impt to me in my social calendar.. cos i m always looking forward to meeting up with both the kiddos & mummies! kiddos: cos i feel like they are my kids too! mummies: cos without them, my pregnancy journey and life after becoming a mummy wouldn't have been so happening! =) so yup.. though it is just over, i m already counting down to the next one..

if missy is the epitome of cool, then my muscle boy must be the spokesperson for the LAND of SMILES.. he's such a happy lil' boy and his smiles make it all worthwhile for the painful pregnancy! awww.. (can u tell i m so in love? haha! helps dat my lil baby loves me more than his daddy.. la la la.. i have heard him shout MAMA clearly on quite a few occasions though i know for sure he's not calling me and the incidents are just flukes, BUT! it still warm the cockles of my heart...)

dinosaur ROAR!!!

hmm.. talking abt dinos, missy's interest in them is really erm... i dunno how to explain. let's put it this way: she seldom reads.. and if she were to pick up any of the many many books i bought for her, it will be the 2 on dinosaurs.. she has 2, almost 3 baskets full of toys but the one brought out to be played on a daily basis? the bag of dinosaurs.. she has more than 50 dvds on barney, tom & jerry and 十万个为什么, wordworld etc etc but wat does she request to watch? any dvds on DINOs!! except for barney.. tsk..

but i m proud of her in a way.. she knows the names of the dinosaurs! ok.. not all but the usual suspects like tyrannosaurus, triceratops, stegosaurus, allosaurus, raptor and brontosaurus.. but datz enough for me! it just tells me about her immense interest. and it gets me so excited about the walking with dinosaurs show dat we'll be catching in december!! i hope she'll learn more abt them, then!
