backtrack to 28th aug 2010... had a meetup with who else but the beautiful oct mummies and cuties for the inaugural baby disco! was expecting to really groove to the beat since 80's was on the agenda but chey! the music was so-so only and pretty boring for the young toddlers who aren't able to "muscle" their way around the older ones.. hahaha..
i m regretting my choice. shd have taken up 珮姨's offer of a sumptious lunch with the family instead.. but well.. life's about choices right? it didnt reali matter in the end cos i got to catch up with some mummies! and missy did have some fun la.. hee hee..

my lil' bao bei with his favourite toy of the moment.. a sophie giraffe... doing his all-time favourite activity - LICKING and BITING! tis lil' terror simply love putting stuff in his mouth.. something so different from jiejie (she has never given me any cause of worry in this dept! her very basic instinct is "kia si".. ha!).. guess we have to be very cautious of what we leave ard the house, lest he just grab and stuff it in.. tsk..
2. he's a real happy baby! always ready with a smile for any1 approaching.. such a contrast to grouchy aka "cool-cat" missy. guess i was a very very happy pregnant woman when with ayden.. thus the contrast in this area...
3. he reacts faster to outside stimulation. e.g. snapping of the fingers, a soft cough etc.. hey! he can even spot us at nite in the darkness and all we did was just to sit up and look at him.
of cos i m not trying to say who is better. missy has her own triumphant moments too but i'd have to search through the blog archives for her achievements. cos (i have to repeat again. i have a poor memory.. hiaks!) i can't remember! thank god for technology. thank god for blogs! hahaha.. and i LOVE them both.. LOADS...

some other differences in this lil' one's development as compared to jiejie (other than the obvious height and weight dept.. btw.. ayden is 71cm, 9.5kg now.. as compared to missy's pathetic 92cm, 12kg.. haha!)

i have a habit of honking on the road when i am behind the wheels. note: i won't say itz a bad habit. ever. cos i honk only for 2 reasons: 1. an idiot about to cause me to be in an accident by driving recklessly blah blah blah.. 2. an idiot trying to kill himself but make it seem like i m the perp by jaywalking in his own world (most likely to also be on the phone with his back towards me). so so so.. i pounded on the horn yday with missy was riding in the back with dear when a stupid truck just drove into my lane without checking for vehicles 1st.. pounded damn hard at least thrice.
missy: mummy,你的手不痛啊?
me: 痛痛
missy: 那么你不要大大力啦!!! 小小力可以吗?

need to stop surfing... to shop
i have been complaining non-stop dat i m BROKE.. but my stupid fingers can't stop surfing to shop despite the recent grabs in bangkok.. oh dear oh dear! damn the internet.. haha! what a bad habit fostered since 2007.. tsk..
have never been a fan of the web.. until i stumbled upon SMH forum where i met wonderful october 07 mummies.. who went through the pregnancy journey with one another and being the listening ears for the many grouses of many mummies over the past 3 years..
and from there came the money-draining SMH BP (bulk purchase) or Spree sections which lulls you into thinking that you are getting freaking great deals (which most of the time, they are!) so you spend and spend and spend just by clicking clicking and clicking.. grrrr... and of cos, i get a high just seeing the status updates of my purchases going from "payment received" to "confirmed" to "mailed out" to receiving the often-brown package in my mailbox or in the office.. and the pleasure of just ripping the package open to reveal the might/ might not fit clothes and many other barang barang for the kids.. ha!
then not forgetting the all-powerful FB with itz many many ads.. i dun log in to FB for games (cos dat'll be another addiction which will be super hard to rid of! i can't imagine the crazy nites spent in front of the lappie if i ever clicked on the games.. ha!).. so so so.. with all these enticing me, tell me how do i save?
dear always wonder how much more clothes/ shoes/ bags do i need and if i am ever gonna donate out the 5 big bags of clothes sitting in our spare room soon before spiders and other creepy crawlies overspill onto our land.. hur! wait till he sees my new buys again.. as i m typing, my hands are itching just to add a tab to shop! hohoho...
so what have i been up to in the past 48hours? hurhur.. securing 4 pieces of outfit from 2 online stores.. (psssst.. if u dun see me wear them, dun ask me about it okie? maybe i can't fit my fat ass in.. oops!

ayden's turn on the jumperoo!
still rem who bought the jumperoo for weewee? hee.. 珮姨 & lilian 姐姐.. when she was around 4 mths old.. and we have kept it away after missy outgrew it and could no longer "jump" and be safe.. and we thought maybe we won't see it again cos we weren't planning for a 2nd kid then.. ha! that's y they always say "never say never".. LOL.. so here we are.. "unearthing" this fun toy from the storeroom once again for the little cute master!
and woah! he is one fast and energetic fella.. so much better in mastering the art of jumping as compared to jie jie! (missy is one little gu-niang la.. ha!)
check out his moves on the jumperoo.. he looks like he is doing the hip-hop/ retro dance at some parts.. even daniel commented dat he dances like papa.. wakakakkaka!
