x'mas, x'mas time is here... time for joy & time for cheers!

my absolute favourite time of the year came and went... with loads of fun & laughter! though i was utterly broke until baby got his year-end bonus and handed me my yearly "bonus" fat angbao for being his darling wife (LOL!).. woohoo!! not forgetting we hit the malls right away after parking the money in a secret account to ensure we keep to the "out of sight, out of mind" theory.. la la la..

all of us got at least one pressie each cos we have picked each other's name like 2 weeks prior to the party.. though we had surprises too! love came in the form of our very own Santarina, 珮姨 who burnt a big hole in her pocket buying us girls (yes, me included), pretty bags and something else for each & every1 of us! woohoo!!!

oooooooo.. i can't miss this out.. ha! my handmade-with-love pressie for my big baby.. materials provided by huijuan, lotsa ideas input from the ever-creative kelly... and.. ta-da! i'm soooo proud of myself! completed in less than 3hrs.. during office hours.. hiaks hiaks... more pressies for the kiddos!! muacks muacks to 珮姨& lilian姐姐 for the beautiful but expensive loot from gymboree US.. aww....
i tink i m very loved... cos my kiddos are getting so much pressies.. if pple dun love me, they wun bother with my kiddos, no?

and oops! got so excited about the lovely gift box dat i forgot to take the pic of the equally beautiful polo tee Xinyi got for ayden boyboy... hee...
last but not least, well-picked and foreseen to be well-utilised pressies from eileen for the 2 of them! they love it!! (",)

don't think i have much to write about cos we had too much fun! hahaha.. nah... just dat the pressies' exchange started so early that i lost track and these are those dat i have pics of! not forgetting the crazy feasting in the month of december dat i tink the lesser i appear in front of the camera, the better it'll be.. LOL

the 2 of them are making my day. everyday. with their cute faces and actions.. and the conversations i have with missy? priceless...

part ONE.
i wanted to cane her cos she was soooooo rebellious and didn't want to hold my hands in the carpark.. when the cane was fished out, she went "oh! mummy, small small cane cane ar??" i was about to burst into laughter but held my face and caned her on her little bum..

part TWO.
ayden is scheduled for his pneuococcal jab and i tot since we are there, might as well have adri take the flu jab too since we are travelling soon.. she stepped into the doc's office, all bright and cheery, introduced herself "hello doctor! i am adrienne!" and proceeded to question the doc on "what are you doing? what is this??"
and when doc was finished with ayden and we were still not out yet, she knew something must be wrong.. hmm.. and she wanted to run away.. so doc went thru her 3year old examination first.. and while listening to her chest with his stethoscope, she went "doctor, this is a tortoise!" (pointing to the tortoise on her chest).. and then "doctor, this is triceratops!" (pointing to her slippers).. and doc went "huh? i dunno wat tri, wat tops leh! u are so clever"... hahahahaha! and she wore this smug look on her face till the doc prepared the syringe for her injection.. and she wailed! gosh.. but dat wasnt the funny part though..

funny part was when she held one arm higher than the other throughout the shopping trip after.. and kept instructing us "dun touch my shoulder ar".. LOL! ^_^

part THREE.
ayden was playing with his new toy and her eyes brightened up at the sight! so i told her datz for ayden and she can't snatch unless she gives up all her toys to him. very promptly, she instructed qiqi who was holding her new toy gun to pass it to didi. and i told her "i mean all toys, all dinosaurs and all drawing materials!".. she nodded OKAY and insisted on taking away the new toy.. getting pissed, i decided to hit below the belt and said "ok! and you dinosaur plaster (which i changed for her at home after the flu jab) too!".. she didnt say anything but her face started to screw up and she burst into tears while saying "eh! 我会流血的leh!"... and all adults burst into laughter at the moment! oopsie!

now, my lovely kiddos! acting angry.. as usual... godknows why is she so "smitten" with the "angry" look..

noble house and the (lack of) service

嫆姨 came back for a visit from sydney and my aunts decided to give her a treat @ noble house.. food's ok. service SUCKS!!! haiz.. watz happening to the service standards nowadays? countries like hongkong used to be notorious for their poor service by arrogant staff or owners.. yet they have changed so much in the last decade and now, a simple "excuse me" will be met by a sincere smile from them..

singapore? long way to go to get back on tracks. we are regressing! no thanks, in my very personal opinion, to the influx of service staff from ph & china.. of cos there are exemplary staff amongst the pool. however, i have to admit they are few and far between.. hmm.. watz happening to singaporeans? are our heads too big to fill up retail/service positions? *shakes head*

missy with her newest creation.. the bottom one is her oh-so-beautiful version of a spider! and the one she's working on? cockroach lor! wat else? hahaha..

and guess wat? my lil boy is one budding artist too! dear & i are surprised by his fine motor skills and "intelligence" in knowing dat the doodle pen is for writing and not to eat! hahahaha..
he can even manipulate the pen from left to write hand. and when his little fingers are slipping off, he removes the pen and hold it again.. hahaha! he turns the pen over and over again too. to rotate between the finer / broader tip.. awww.. my lil babies..
i am already dreaming of the day when their artwork can be sold for $XXXXXXXXXX.. hahahaha!
