still rem who bought the jumperoo for weewee? hee.. 珮姨 & lilian 姐姐.. when she was around 4 mths old.. and we have kept it away after missy outgrew it and could no longer "jump" and be safe.. and we thought maybe we won't see it again cos we weren't planning for a 2nd kid then.. ha! that's y they always say "never say never".. LOL.. so here we are.. "unearthing" this fun toy from the storeroom once again for the little cute master!

and woah! he is one fast and energetic fella.. so much better in mastering the art of jumping as compared to jie jie! (missy is one little gu-niang la.. ha!)

missy: mummy!!! where's the papa?
me: mummy working, papa's @ home..
missy: orh.. where's my papa??

me: but baby, u have a robot dinosaur at home right?

scene 2: 舅母 asks her to come out to the living room to ask her some qns... missy is in the room.
wee wee - (holding the door frame very tightly) "huh?"
舅母 - "weewee 来"
wee wee - (still holding on.. face sours) "huh???"
舅母 - "weewee 来"
wee wee -(tears filling up her eyes, threatening to roll over).. "orh..."
and 舅母 just wanted to ask her if she had anything to eat lor??!!! tsk..

scene 3: at studioloft. ayden is sleeping so we waited for maryann in another part of the studio. missy is playing with some toys and apparently misbehaved. so dear snapped his fingers on her arm..
wee wee - (pointed to dear and pouted. stared at him, then at me.. then at him.. and continued walking to me) and said "mummy, papa BEAT me! mummy, you beat papa ok?"
dear & i - struggled very hard not to laugh. just in case u can't picture the above image, imagine u are watching a period drama.. the calefare gets stabbed, then staggers backwards and starts pointing at the assassin when he comes to realise dat its that brudder he trusted so much who stabbed him. while saying "you... you.... you..." then collapses on the floor. hahahhahaha!

19th august 2010. thursday.

had wanted to go catch the play, boeing boeing the last 3 times it was staged but the schedules simply clashed and couldn't do so. but! i finally managed to do so with dear this run! and i m so happy cos the main character, Bernard is played by Adrian Pang this time round! yippie!..

although we were sick (dear's down with flu and fever and chills.. and me, the hacking cough..), we were glad we made it down nonetheless. cos we spent the next 1.5hrs laughing our hearts out! the play was hilarious, witty and plain charming! see the following for the synopsis of the play.. (phew! itz a play.. cos dear dun reali like/enjoy musicals.. *bleh*)

the actors are definitely in top form and their fantastic acting brought out the souls in all 6 characters in the play! dear & mine personal fav? the cathay pacific stewardess played by Wendy Kweh. she is such a natural with the hkg slang, the bitchiness and the LOUDNESS! hahahaha... i better stop yakking about it.. else it'll be a spoiler! =P

pls do catch it if u can! dun miss the play! ends 4th september.. @ drama centre, nlb.
p.s. imo, dun need to get the best seats cos drama centre is pretty small. that being said, we were seated in the 2nd row from the front and the view is superb. however, as the theatre is small, i doubt it will make any difference.. =)

宝贝's session @ studioloft

finally! we went for our much-awaited shoot at studioloft, by maryann.. we won the prize last year for their Mother's Day promo.. but then i was preggers and tired and popped and busy with a newborn... blah blah blah.. the list of excuses go on and on.. and we are finally there again for the shoot... phew!

dun let the pics fool you ya? i know many have commented that adri is so good with her poses etc etc etc... ya.. but let me tell u the HARD work behind the beautiful pics. 1st, maryann had to be a reali fast photog. 2nd, dear and I morphed into some kinda mutated dr. jekyll & mr. hyde.. either we had to entice her to continue with the shoot with some incentives or we had to threaten her with an imaginary cane.. tsk tsk.. tell me, do i have the time and patience if she goes for modelling classes?? hahahaha!

anyway, we were tired BUT had great fun! and cos of the 201 beautifully taken pics, we decided to just top up the $250 and get back all the photos in softcopy.. now is the time to have a good thought on which to choose...
p.s. i still have no idea which to choose for the 1 x 8R and 4 x 5R.. so do help me out ya? hee...

and not forgetting that teachers' day is round the corner.. so i stocked up on the goodies for them too...
how can i forget the handsome man who have paid for this and acted as my shopping-bag-carrying-hero? aww... his spoils include 2 pairs of berms + 5 tees + 2 leather wallets + 2 leather belts.. (to think that i have to threaten him into buying his own stuff, otherwise i wun shop anymore.. and that silly man believed his shopaholic wife! hurhur.. i m 'trustworthy'). oh.. and the poor man actually suffered diarrhoea for 2 days while there! poor dear..
and and.. for my lil' darlings. a robot dino (ya.. ya.. wat else??) + dresses + 2 pretty slippers + shorts for them + family tees set for the 4 of us! (we are gg to studioloft coming saturday!!)

my other stuff.. ok.. i m not that crazy about the pooh pouch but hey! itz a steal and itz for my sunglasses (the case literally disintegrated in the car. no thanks to the stoopid weather.. grr.. or maybe itz time for me to buy another pair?? ha!)

and then there's the pretty acrylic fairy necklace (which looks so much like my tattoo which i can only dream of showing off anymore since itz at the place where some stretchmarks can be visibly seen! argh...) .. so i shall wear this around my neck then.. =P

plus the hp pouches, passport holder, cute cardholders and a act-cute hairband.. la la la...

then there's the slippers galore! for me, dear, pei yi, granny, mum & bro... doesn't come dat cheap but super comfy..

and one request i got from the team? to buy voodoo dolls to hex pple in the office.. hahaha! and since itz 'evil' and i can't find them, i decided the cute, colourful voodoo luggage tags shd do the trick.. LOL

and these are the loot from the last day of shopping after most stuff have been packed.. i like the gleams ball for wee wee.. it plays a music with ah-lian lights and can bounce about! (but it kaput on me.. most likely due to weewee's mishandling.. tsk!)

just in case u think i m mad for sorting out the stuff b4 packing and tink itz just for the sake of taking photos of, let me tell u the trick. this is actually a good practice for sorting out the stuff even before u get back!! i had the stuff packed in diff plastic bags (which i have kept and even brought unused ones back to SG to reuse to clear my trash - good recycling okie? save the earth, baby!!) and upon reaching SG, i dun even have to sieve through the stuff! i just have to take the correct ones out from the bags, and hand out the pressies. as for my own loot, i just have to take them out and have them hung up or put them in the wardrobe.. minimal fuss after a tiring trip! try this the next time u go on a trip.. tell me if u love me or not.. hahaha!
the above loot is not all!!! 珮姨 & lilian 姐姐 just came back from their hokkaido trip 1 day after we left.. and we came home to more pressies from them! thanks my dearies.. (qns: y go japan to buy gap?? so ex! i heartpain!)

what a great feeling!! am so looking forward to the next trip... though dear asked hesitantly, "another country for shopping?".. to which i have shrugged my shoulders and winked.. ^_<

我和宝贝们。。。

it was a long weekend b4 i left for BKK as it was National Day! yippie!!

and i received a very pretty though belated pressie from the crazies at work.. cos sab got her fren to custom make this pretty frame for me.. aww.. (i hv been bugging them that i dislike the picture of me they used but they told me that the main point is to look at them, not myself.. er???)

and it was weewee's school sports day on 6th aug (friday) in conjunction with national day celebrations.. she was involved in running (BIG question: wonder y miss quek chose this short girl with short legs who's a KLUTZ???).. haha! and she had been so excited about it for the week leading to it.. kept repeating to me "eh mummy! i am running.. see??".. er.. ok.. i see a slow tortoise attempting to run lor.. LOL!

we weren't able to join in the fun though.. cos of the recent spike in HFMD.. haiz.. but well.. she came back with something wor! ha.. wonder was tis a "thank you for your participation" prize.. hiaks..

we also just started to put ayden in the walker (handed down from wee wee. her 2nd one..) and he had a ball of a time zooming around!! but he had just the same amount of fun gnawing on his fists at the same time.. hahahaha..

missy is one old jealous pig nowadays.. seeing that the attention showered on ayden is getting more, she no longer show the same type of affection towards him like when he was much younger.. tsk.. ask her if she loves didi and she will name the whole world she loves EXCEPT for didi.. argh...........

and being the long weekend, we took the opportunity to bring weewee home (she has been making this request for the longest time: "i want to go mummy's place!!" and we wanted to give her some undivided attention for 1 day or so).. so dear & i tot of things to do.. and swimming popped up since she has been wanting to "swim" for awhile too.. ha! like real. her swimming actually involves walking in the half-squat position through the water.. y? cos she is afraid to get water in her hair and on her face!! tsk tsk..

however, being the very irritating parents that we are, we couldn't resist splashing water all over her.. ignoring her very loud protests "eh! mummy, papa!!! i dun wan!!!".. hiaks.. too bad sweetheart.. too bad.. keke..

insisted on carrying her own mushroom float..
and right after the swim.. there was a fair at safra jurong and 1 of the stalls was selling helium balloons (grrrr!!!).. missy was looking at them and dear paid for the t-rex (wat else?? chey!) one.. while waiting for her balloon, she actually turned to a little girl next to her and went "you cannot touch huh! don't touch".. er!!! to think she was touching all the balloons on display there too!! hahaha... bth! so bossy...
and we meet up with mum & granny & ayden on the next day @ vivo for lunch at dian xiao er.. right next to it is of course wee wee's favourite cow moomoo.. and how can she miss out on her photoshoot leh?? p.s i tink she is stuck on to dear using loctite, the super super superglue.. hmmm...
and the sleepyhead ayden is as usual sleepy.. so we made our way home after some shopping... (missy was getting cranky too!).. and this is my sweetie darling in dreamland and in his walker (spells freedom for him!)..
and erm.. the siamese twins again to complete the post... stuck at the hips leh.. hahahahaha!

updates updates!

darling ayden turns 4mths old today.. Happy HEALTHY 4 months old darling!

he weighs 7.8kg and is 70cm tall now! wat a contrast to his shortie jie jie! (who, by the way has FINALLY reached the elusive 90cm mark though weight remains at 12kg) hahaha... so much so dat i feel like he's 7-8mths old when i carry him in my arms.. this lil' darling is so big!

and @ 1 day shy of turning 4 mths, he is starting to crawl.. inching forward slowly but surely in his own style, a combination of the commando and snake moves.. hahaha.. abit slow in reaching his "goals" (aka his bolster or hanky) but determination wins the day, often!

as for me, i m more or less stuck @ X3 to X4kg (at least i broke the stupid X5kg barrier.. didn't seem to wana go down for the longest time.. grrrr) pre-pregnancy weight is still a good 5-6kgs away!.. itz reali a slow process this time round.. i have lost only about 13kg in this 4 mths.. argh!!! and with the gobi craze combined with a lower metabolic rate since hitting the big 3s? hurhur.. i guess it'll take even longer.. AND it doesn't help dat dear seems to be looking better everyday though his weight loss has slowed down and he's kinda stuck at X1-X2kg (just like me!! hee).. it just ain't fair when i see him maintaining this weight even when he reaches out for that new pack of chips/ peanuts everytime RIGHT after a full meal.. *bleh* watever.. >_< i m sure his weight will creep up slowly on him and he'll balloon again! *evil grins*

and dat reminds me of the words on the poster right in front of me at my desk:
"Dear God, if you can't make me thin... at least make my friends fat."
maybe i shd just start praying.. LOL!
