time to kiss my FATs GOODBYE!
i hope! hahaha..
hope comes in the form of ab circle pro, something which dear & i saw on kenqo's TV ad.. it looks super easy & effortless & dear promised right away that he'll get it for me after i give birth!
we went to bugis to take a look at the equipment. dear went on it and swung from left to right easily and effortlessly.. which made me go "dear, sure it'll work? so easy! machiam no resistance like dat leh.." and he told me go on and try it on and see if i wana buy it. wah! right after getting on it, i totally understand that he didn't mean his sentence that way. what he wanted me to do was to actually feel the product and to tell me that it is NOT easy at all! i couldn't even MOVE the thing an inch!.. argh... i have reali been tooooooooo lazy. i just realised i have NO core muscles strength at all. tsk tsk.. went home empty-handed. tsk tsk tsk!
however, i couldn't get my head off it. i mean, c'mon! i need to get started somewhere, dun i? moreover, itz not like i will ever ever change into my track shoes and go jogging. puh-lease! i dun even wana get started on doing crunches or sit-ups! watz the point of getting started on something which i know for sure that i WON'T keep up with?
so, we went back to bugis 2 weeks from the last visit (and after a much-needed visit to my trusty tui-na massage.. the chiropractic sessions aren't working as well as i would like it to be!).. and VOILA! i could move the thing on my own this time round.. YIPPIE! sounds like itz a done deal and yes, it is. dear paid for the item.. and i am waiting for it to be delivered in a day's time. will update again on my "training" progress!

lil' ayden weighs 6.2kg as at 6 weeks old (16th may), 59cm tall with a head circumference of 38.5cm.
on the other hand, miss shortie weighs 12kg and measures at a pathetic height of 87cm (which has remained the same over the past few months!).. hmm..
didi has been on 120ml milk feeds from 2nd week onwards though it might dwindle now & then to 90ml but he's looking like a 3-months old baby with his chubby face and length.. missy is still drinking mostly milk only with some solids here and there. and hmm.. she is drinking 120ml every 2hours just like didi! you can actually say that i am a happy mother to 2 babies.. hahaha! ok. i shall have no complaints since both of them are growing pretty well! =P i am also a very very lucky mother, esp with the precious help from both granny & mummy in looking after these 2 little monsters while i have been having my breaks over the past 2 weeks... i reali owe it to them... big time.
behaviour-wise.. missy is, in my opinion, the best jie jie to ayden despite her nottiness. ask her on a bad day if she loves daddy/mummy/ granny/ great-grandma or anyone else and her answer will most likely be a "NO!".. but regardless on what type of day she is going through, she will ALWAYS say "i LOVE didi!".. seriously. dear and i are both impressed by her. she is afterall not a selfish & spoilt brat as we have presumed she will be.
having said that, it doesn't mean she won't ignore ayden or fight for our attention. she will go on her daily "chores" of playing with her toys, watching DVDs or drawing. and she will still insist we do these together with her. however, she will also have her sweetest jiejie moments when she stop by ayden's cot, rocker or sarong and peep at him. stroke his hands sooooooo gently and say "didi ayden, sayang.." *heart melts*
didi ayden on the other hand is a fiesty and fierce lil' fella! fiercer than missy on all counts. (should be able to tell when his cord dropped off only on the 28th day compared to adri's 18th day - which is already considered a very long time!) and he is also a lil' kpo who loves to be carried upright and his eyes will scan everywhere. he even knows how to show his displeasure of staying in the room a tad longer than he should. he'll fuss and make loads of noise until we bring him out to the living room! he also have this funny "capability" of letting us know when he poops. his face will change and he'll make a sound, getting us ready to clean him up.. one thing he hates most is the cleaning of his face with wet cotton pads after every feed! this dirty lil' fella hates to have his face cleaned. haha!
can u imagine what it is like to have four short/hot-tempered beings together in a family?? hmm.. i wonder how it'll be when my 2 babies are teenagers.. oh dear.. i shall not think about it until that day comes!

dear has commented that ever since i got my satio, i hvnt been having early nites even though i lie down on the bed pretty early.. hurhurhur..me? i just realised that i hvnt been blogging much due to my satio! argh.. i dun even see the need to switch on the netbook if not for online shopping (which i do pretty much on my hp too until i need to transfer $$$ for those sneaky purchases! haha).. sooooo.. the poor blog has been pretty neglected.. and i feel bad! esp when i should be raving about my dearie newborn ayden! tsk.. bad mummy me!
well, having said that.. i can still redeem myself that lil' bit by saying that i do post updates on ayden! but only on fb cos datz so much easier to access with the phone.. hee... *bad excuse*..
anyway... here are some updates (without pics though! cos i need to sieve thru' my pics.. gimme time!) on the darlings at home!bb ayden's 1st month was celebrated earlier on 1st may by giving out cakes sets from sweetest moments and cake cards from bengawan solo.. no gatherings or anything of that sort as i was too lazy to plan anything. sorie! i know i m being so unfair but hey.. i know myself too well. if i wana do a party, i will be the one planning & executing everything from start till end cos i m the "party perfectionist"! i would have wanted to order way-too-expensive cutie cupcakes and i would have insisted that every friend of mine get invited. i even minimised my chances of having a clash with my in-laws. something i wouldn't want to see happening. and i would have also had to crack my brains for a cute, OTT invitation. parties are something i love but i dread.. ESPECIALLY the CLEANING waiting to be done after the party.. so nope! i refused to even think about it.
soooo.. ayden might have an uneventful 1st month "party" but i have made up for it earlier by having a newborn photoshoot session of him & the family! pretty pretty pics! (erm.. will share them later ya.. ).. and i just wana say this.. falling in love again is sooooooo easy for me! i fell in love with dear, we fell in love with adri. and now the 3 of us fell in love with ayden.. awwww.. i feel reali blessed and blissed out.. =)
