bb adri the shopping queen & "pig trotters"!!

ignore the title.. hahaha! seriously, ignore it as we all shd know who is the shopping queen here.. she's merely the princess.. well well well.. anyway, since the queen was carrying the princess in her tummy, the queen hasn't been getting much for herself..

preggers = swollen like a pig (if any1 can remember the sheer size of my elephant legs... LOL).. so nothing to buy anyway..

just an ugly reminder of the past(whahahahahaha! i can't believe it myself lor..)

well, anyway:

after popping = life revolves ard the princess..

my shopping urges reali diminished to point where i seriously amaze myself! however, those urges refer solely to shopping for MYSELF.. the shopping craze is still very very alive & kicking & thriving when it comes to shopping for the PRINCESS! the clothes, the accessories, the barang barang i see everyday on the forum (BPs & sprees! omg...) ms notti, i dun mind u spending on me in future okie? mummy is very easy to satisfy one ar.. hahaha..

ok ok.. enough of my 'sob' story.. some photos of the weekend to share!

Saturday was fun!

美姨 bought us lunch @ imperials.. my fav yummy chicken wanton soup!!

woohoo! thanks so much ladies for the wonderful though tiring day out today!!

and my damage for the day was on my heels & dress.. LOL..

outside harry's.. i m seriously wondering wat these 2 had to drink??? and who are they making funny faces at? 姨丈？hahaha!

now, they are acting cute... hoho.. these 2 playmates ar...

my funny 姨丈 that adri has been avoiding & saying "mmm-oi" to all weekend ! hmmm... we ALL wonder y?? keke...

erm.. dun ask me wat kinda face is adri giving.. with the lighting and my less than perfect cam, dun u tink adri looks like she went for botox? wahhahahahaaha

i really really love ms notti adrienne! =D

ms notti is very very very cute now, even if i have to say so myself! ha.. nah.. i know all babies will definitely be the most adorable & lovable in the eyes of their parents.. and i m sure most will wish to stop time now and slowly admire their babies' growth & development as much as myself..! since we can't do that, the only thing i can do & wish to do is to keep reminding myself that i am a mother now and i need to love my baby more everyday instead of the weekend mummy that i m now...


some of the amazing things i have learnt that a 1 yr old ms notti can do... and boy! it overwhelms me at times... =)


1. baby can say: "mmm-oi", "pa-pa", "ma-ma", "po-po", "mum-mum" and starting to utter "bye-bye"


2. understands 2 languages & 1 dialect... english, mandarin & cantonese

3. responds when asked questions like:
~"do you want...?" - shakes head & say "mmm-oi" or nods
~"where do u want to go?" - points to direction
~"where is winnie the pooh/ tweety/ gymbo/ hello kitty/ ball/ piggy bank/ old man/ mirror etc" -points to item!
~"where pain pain?" - points to herself/ head & hits the floor / headboard of bed
~"u want milk / nen-nen / 'good-good' / zui zui / chou chou / ju-ju / nnn-nnn (poo poo)"
~"nnn-nnn finished?"
~"who is pretty girl?" - point so herself.. hahaha! like mummy so thick-skinned..
~ "where is little tummy?" / "daddy's tummy"? - pulls up respective tops! hahaha...

4. do little actions on cue like:
~ 怕怕
~waves
~flying kiss
~kiss kiss

5. responds to songs with actions like twinkle twinkle little star etc!

6. responds to: "adrienne", "dree-yearn", "sweetheart", "sweet sweet", "小宝贝", "幸仪", "妹妹"

7. plays peek-a-boo with you by covering her own face with her hands! keke... cheeky girl..

8. kisses u when you put on her hairclip for her & tell her "美美"! she's reali reali vain lor.. haha..
otherwise, she'll reward u with a kiss only when she feels like it.. ha!

9. will crawl up to u and pull to a stand and sayang u when u tell her u are angry with her...

10. purposely irritates the shit out of u when u tell her not to do something!! argh.. and dat cheeky look of hers.. haiz.. can i just muster up the courage & smack her?? kekeke..

erm.. well.. like wat mummy always say to me.. "you must be mad.. cant bear to hit ur daughter.. next time she'll 'ride' on u lor!!"

and oh.. like wat sarah said too.. i tink i might have become my girl's playmate instead of her mummy wor... LOL! but i must make it very clear.. i dun have a deprived childhood! hahaha.. i just love her alot.. more than wat alot of pple think.. i just have to be clearer on my discipline methods... and oh ya.. CONSISTENCY...

Prince's arrival & other happy stuff..

wendy has popped on Saturday morning to Prince (tentative name... erm.. apparently cos he's the son of ah Tai so he's Tai-zi thus, the name Prince.. pengz.. LOL)!!! adri's got a didi already! tis little didi is of a very good weight @ 9lbs 7oz (4.29kg!) and he's tall @ 57cm (ahem... unlike my ms shortie..)

ms notti had her last pneumococcal jab today.. she already knew wat was in-store for her once we laid her down on the bed.. CRIED so hard!! poor dear... must be very painful... but it was for only 10 secs.. next thing we knew, she was up and playing with daddy liao.. haha.. thick skin..

oh.. and confirm ms notti is ms shortie too.. she's only 73.5 cm (daddy insists itz 74cm though.. blind man!) and 9.3kg (lost some weight again) @ 1 year 11 days old... must make a mental note to make her jump more! hahaha... *evil mummy me*

and to wrap up all happy events for the weekend, ms notti decided to treat me abit better and muttered more "ma-ma" than usual!! woohoo! she has said "mama" quite some time back but i m sure tis is different!! and i m ecstatic.. !

cos pei-yi treated mummy to dinner for her bday yesterday at Lao Beijing (which was a total rip-off by the way cos of the lousy food), i brought mummy & grandma to ichiban sushi at Toa Payoh after ms notti's class.. erm.. but tink itz a wrong choice.. check out their faces.. LOL! but they did enjoy the pickled ginger though.. ??????? haha...

we stayed over at mummy's place on 7th cos we are both on leave!! keke...

adri seems to know itz her birthday or maybe cos she likes the birthday song? we sang to her and she laughed and clapped her hands happily! hahaha...

we brought her to a PS at Sean Lau photography.. tink she enjoyed the session overall compared to 6 mths ago when she's still a grouchy little baby (i have to state clearly dat i LOVE studioloft's pics though.. if anything, itz all adri's fault for being uncooperative.. LOL).. ha!

went through quite a few changes in outfits and tell u wat.. this little TODDLER obviously has a mind of her own now! when she is changed into clothes she doesn' t like or find restrictive, she attempts to "tear" them off her body! omg... best part is: she loves being topless! aiyo.. ms notti, u are a girl leh.. not some barbarian...

and in order to make her wear something like her shoes & clips, u have to coax her by telling her how "pretty" she is.. i said it so many times, i wanted to puke... hahaha!

and she can't sit still in the same spot for long.. ha! so Sean had to work harder and 'slide' around with the cam, trying to capture ms notti's expressions and actions..

the pics wun be ready until about a month's time? but one things for sure: those pics of ms notti with her dad are going to turn out fantastic with her smiling brilliantly in each & every one of the shots cos her poor mummy was doing starfish JUMPS right behing Sean for a good 5 mins to coax that smile & laughter from her!! while daddy just kept calling her name (thinking dat his voice alone will make ms notti smile??? *pui*! hahahaha...) when Sean was shooting her with me before that...
